The workshop is my refuge from the daily trials and tribulations. This area in the basement is not just a work room, it is where my imagination is inspired and allowed to run free(some of my friends think it runs a bit too free). The workshop has evolved over the past 20 years. To me it is just as important as the models, sculptures and drawings. It changes me from husband, father and employee to Master of an imaginary world.
I have put a lot of time, energy and money into this room, but it would not be possible without my wife, Mindy. She not only puts up with my eccentricities, but supports and encourages me. She calls my workshop "the man cave".
In the past I have come across people who take my enthusiasm of the hobby as though I am showing off , I don't understand this way of thinking. Sharing the hobby is also part of my enthusiasm. Teaching to others is the last important piece of the hobby that I love. Check out my workshop/galleries and if you have any questions or comments please contact me and I will answer back. There will be more photos of different aspects of utilizing space and decorating so please check back from time to time.
