E-Type VTOL Racer (Vertical take-Off)     1/8 scale

Bought a couple of Monogram 1/8th scale, Jaguar E-Type kits that were already started for $25.00. They were messed up alot, so figured this could be a good anti-gravity or VTOL race car project. This lets my imagination go free and I really enjoy this kind of project. Second thing is I get to save a kit that would probably get throne in the trash. Between the 2 kits I was able to pick out the best body parts. A project like this gives me the chance to use different medias, plastic electrical conduit and plumbing pipe, brass tubing and of course my favorite, Evergreen Plastic.
This is a big kit and it is a heavy kit, and it is not a very well designed kit. So my choice of using brass for the chassis is  mostly because it is incredibly strong when soldered together. Another reason, I always wanted to make a chassis out of brass.
